Safe and Sound in Thailand!!!

My house is right next to the wilsons. It has three bedrooms - one used as a classroom, one as a guest room, and one is my room. There are two bathrooms, one with a little squat pot, and the other actually has a flushing toilet!! Yesterday, Mr. Wilson bought a water heater and had it installed, so I have hot water to shower with!!! Such modern technology!! I also have a kitchen and livingroom. At this point I have very little furnature because most of it was destroyed in the recent flood they had here. But will get some more hopefully soon. I'm already learning to speak some words in thai - counting, and basic greeting phrases. This morning I got up, chased all the geckos away from my windows, closed them, to keep in some cool air, took a nice hot shower, and then went with Mrs. Wilson to the fresh market. I got to ride sidesaddle on the back of their motercycle. That was intersting... thankfully I have a good sense of balance! I paid close attention to where the fresh market was, so hopefully I can go soon and buy some food myself! I got motercycle driving lessons soon! Right now I'm at the office useing their internet. After this I'm headed to town with Mr. Wilson to buy some cleaning supplies, and other stuff I need for my house. I start teaching school to benya and eliah on monday. They are really sweet kids, but sometimes do have a hard time listening and obeying. But it shouldn't take them long to learn that I mean what I say and will follow through with consequences! lol mean me...
